The Google Phone application can be renamed “Google Call” and get another icon in four colors
Lately, Google brought its Android dialer to non-Pixel gadgets and changed the Play Store listing. This currently gives the idea that an upcoming rebranding will give the Phone app another logo and name: “Google Call”.
A YouTube ad for the Phone by Google app – as is currently officially mentioned on the Play Store – appeared today. It includes a connection to download and has a “reliable caller ID” function. The included screenshot – which exists today – doesn’t show anything strange.
Either way, the top right corner of the ad includes another logo. It’s a generic phone icon – not unlike the new Voice logo, but all four of Google’s tones are used. This is followed by “Google Call”.
This could be the app’s new name, as well as its home screen icon. The current one uses a somewhat unique shape and is placed on a blue background.
This new icon is not available on Google Play or any other site. This would come after the huge rebranding for Workspace and all the apps under that umbrella. The Phone app, alongside Messages and Duo, is driven by a similar leader who manages the productivity suite.
Thus, it may well be conceivable that these customer communication products also have a new look to be flagged. All things considered, another name to go with it would be a lot of take off.
Nonetheless, this rebranding would be very smart of all the intelligences of Google in the Phone app today from the call screen and hold for me, just like the notification and spam search. .
