What’s the point when it’s virtually the same spec as the previous generation. Useless.

As for Samsung, they never really lower the price of the mid-range models here, but that’s more of a Samsung issue.
But another reason why we have so little choice in different brands is the lack of interest in tablets, and people who have one for Apple.
It is therefore a problem specific to my country.

Tab like s7FE (sd 778G version), s7 (on sale), Tab A7 (one with sd 662) offer very good value for money compared to competition.
And the realme new tab with sd 695 is undefeated if you are looking for performance.

MOREI ditched the cheap tablets and got my kids a used Poco X3 (6.67″ 120Hz LCD) and flashed a custom ROM on it. It’s a great solution for them , and it’s good to have a spare phone, I can no longer my sim when needed, they just use it on wifi to play games, if they want to do something else, they use an old computer Dell laptop.

The 2020 one has at least a Snapdragon processor.
So now put garbage and ask for the same money.
In my country, other than Apple, most tablet brands are Lenovo and Samsung, and although Samsung has better and longer OS support, I would choose a Lenovo any day if I had to.
I know a lot of people who have the A7 2020, because Samsung tablets are selling better due to name, specs, speakers and performance, but the screen is beyond terrible, looks more like something cheap from 2010.
Meanwhile the Lenovo ones may have worse support, for the same price they give the same stuff as Samsung + good IPS above.
However, I wouldn’t bother picking up a tablet, only the Apple ones make sense, and when it comes to tablets, I’d choose Android instead.
In addition, the fact that the cheapest tablets are mediocre and the good ones are too expensive is also an important reason.

I wish Sammy or someone would make a decent 7 inch phablet, preferably with an older 4.3 ratio screen and LCD, non amoled and reasonably priced.
