REDMAGIC 7S Pro Gaming Phone Goes International with up to 18GB RAM, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Following its launch in China earlier this month, the REDMAGIC 7S Pro gaming phone is going international, with prices ranging from $729 for a model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage to $899 for an 18GB/ 512 GB.

But it’s not just the ridiculous amount of memory (by modern smartphone standards) that makes the latest addition to Nubia’s gaming phone line stand out.

The phone also has a “10-layer” cooling system that includes a fan with 0.1mm blades and RGB lighting, and speeds up to 20,000 rpm, a liquid-cooled heat sink, a conductive gel, a graphene heat storage plate, a copper foil, an aluminum frame and a vapor chamber.

The REDMAGIC 7S Pro features a 6.8-inch, 2400 x 1080 pixel AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 960Hz touch sampling rate and 600nits peak brightness, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 8+ Gen 1, LPDDR5-6400 memory and UFS 3.1 storage.

It has a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery and supports 65W fast charging (and the phone actually comes with a 65W charger in the box, which isn’t always a given). These days).
