OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus 9RT, a potential gaming phone, in India.
Mobile gaming was once a way to kill time, but today mobile gaming is serious business. With games like Call of Duty, BGMI, and Asphalt 9 and up, you need a good smartphone to have a good gaming experience. OnePlus plans to bring this along with the OnePlus 9R.
OnePlus 9R, while not marketed as a gaming smartphone like the ROG Phone 5, offers everything a mobile gamer would want.
OnePlus 9R is powered by the all-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which can handle just about anything. This is combined with 12 GB of RAM, allowing users to open multiple apps at once without any hassle. The OnePlus 9R comes with up to 256GB of storage and also uses UFS 3.1 storage which is almost three times faster than UFS 3.0.
The OnePlus 9R is also 5G ready, allowing users to enjoy high speed internet once 5G arrives in India. But heat could become a major issue and to keep this problem under control the phone comes with 14 temperature sensors. These sensors allow the OnePlus 9R to maintain a cool temperature at all times. Cooling takes place through the internal graphite and copper vapor chamber.
OnePlus 9R features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. The screen is obviously great for gaming, but more than that, it provides a good viewing experience. The 120Hz refresh rate makes the display super smooth.
Besides the hardware, OnePlus has also added a dedicated Pro Gaming mode which further improves performance by optimizing phone settings. It removes all annoying notifications during the game.
At a starting price of Rs 34,999, the OnePlus 9R has it all, including a decent camera.
