Infinix Zero 5G LEAK! India’s price could put it on par with Oppo Reno 7

The Infinix Zero 5G has leaked and it has been confirmed that it will soon be launched in India. The Zero 5G could rival the Oppo Reno 6.

Infinix Zero 5G LEAK! Infinix’s first 5G smartphone is expected to launch soon in India and based on the leaks, it looks like it will be a mid-range 5G smartphone. The Zero 5G could end up borrowing the design from flagship Android phones, but could end up with a competitive price tag. And, it might boast specs that Xiaomi and Realme might worry about. Infinix hasn’t officially announced anything yet, other than teasers.

The Infinix Zero 5G could become a rival to the recently launched Xiaomi 11i in India, but could end up with a much lower price. Based on leaks from Mysmartprice, the Infinix Zero 5G could be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 900 platform. This is the same chip that powers the Oppo Reno 6. This will also bring support for connectivity 5G, and the leak suggests there will be support for 13 5G bands.

Infinix Zero 5G Leaks

The leak also reveals some other interesting aspects about the Zero 5G. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A small camera cutout will house the front camera, details of which are unknown at this time.

A 5000mAh battery will power the Zero 5G and a 33W fast charging solution will be present. Infinix is expected to launch with Android 11 under its own XOS skin.

Lastly, the Infinix Zero 5G would also come with a 48MP main rear camera. It is said that this one could also offer an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto lens. However, there are no details available on these cameras yet.

Along with specs, the leak also contains official renders of the Zero 5G. The phone largely resembles the Oppo Find X3 Pro, which was Oppo’s flagship Android phone of 2021. The camera bump rises from the rear with a gradual slope separating the “bump” from the rear panel. It will be available in a glossy black color as well as a brown color (the latter appears to be a vegan leather material).

With the Infinix Zero 5G, the company may be looking to move upmarket this year. Local brand Lava tried it out last year with the Lava Agni 5G, which was its first 5G smartphone aimed at the mid-range segment.
