Asus’ most expensive gaming phone, Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 launch, new OnePlus smart TV and other tech news of the week

A month after its global debut, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has launched in India. The Surface Laptop Go 2 is the successor to the two-year-old Surface Laptop Go. Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop Go comes with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of SSD storage. It comes at a starting price of Rs 73,999 in India. The laptop will be available for purchase from authorized offline resellers, offline stores and Amazon India.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 will also be available in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB – for consumers, priced at Rs 73,999 and Rs 80,999, respectively. Meanwhile, the laptop is available in four enterprise storage configurations – 4GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB – starting at Rs 70,990.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 comes with a 12.4-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels, an aspect ratio of 3:2, and a maximum brightness of 330 nits.

The laptop comes with OmniSonic speakers supporting Dolby Atmos. Additionally, Surface Laptop Go 2 has a 720P webcam and dual far-field studio microphones for video calling.
