Introducing the Amazfit GTS 3
Design and display
Unlike the Amazfit GTR 3, the GTS 3 has a rectangular display that measures 1.75 inches diagonally. However, it is also encased in a similar aluminum alloy body but weighs only 24.4g which is lighter. The display here is also a AMOLED panel with 341 DPI.
It also has a similar crown to the GTR 3 but is located slightly differently since it doesn’t have an extra button like it did with the Amazfit GTR 3. For water protection, the GTS 3 has a water resistance 5ATM.
Likewise, it comes with a removable silicone strap that is 20mm wide. It is also, unfortunately, missing a loudspeaker, similar to GTS 3, meaning you can’t take calls on it.
It comes with three color options: Graphite Black, Ivory White, and Terra Rosa. But, only Graphite Black is available in Nepal at the moment.

Health and other features
The design is the only major difference between the two. All other features are almost the same. It runs on the new lightweight Zepp operating system and has all the health features from GTR 3, such as the BioTracker PPG 3.0 biometric sensor that measures heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress and blood pressure. respiratory rate in less than 45 seconds.
Moreover, it has a 24-hour heart rate monitoring characteristic, sleep phase tracking characteristic and menstrual cycle tracker characteristic. And for fitness enthusiasts, there are over 150 different sport modes. Moreover, it has a Alexa voice assistant, which can be used both online and offline.
Connectivity and battery
The Amazfit GTS 3 has Bluetooth 5.1 BLE for connectivity. Similar to GTR 3, it also has GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS and QZSS to track location.
You can also get more information and download watch faces using the smartphone app called Zepp App which is available in app stores, both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The watch is powered by a 250mAh battery, which is significantly smaller than the 450 mAh battery found in the GTR 3. According to Amazfit, the battery lasts up to 12 days in a typical usage scenario on a single full charge.

The Amazfit GTS 3 is very similar to the Amazfit GTR 3. The only major difference is the design. The GTR 3 has a circular shape, while the GTS 3 has a rectangular shape.
It’s also slightly lighter than the GTR 3, probably due to the smaller 250mAh battery. Other than that, the two smartwatches are identical, running on the same Zepp operating system, offering the same health and fitness tracking features, and supporting Alexa.
The prices are also the same. And it also lacks a speaker.
